I can't help but read the 5-10 newletters I get a day. It's an addiction. In any case I wanted to hear from you how you found yourself as a writer for one of those newsletter. How would some go through that process? Happy writing. Loved your article from the other day.

Comment on Things you shouldn't do with email

Dude- Absolutley worth sharring with my collegues.
NRN

Comment on Email and Web 2.0

I certainly didn't call the channel dead...but it is changing.. I make a living specializing in this channel and evangelize the value cross all digital channels, so to say it's dead is bit "off-base" .. What's up ??

Comment on Print Magazines will follow the path of plastic records

I grew up with newspapers in my home and I still enjoy reading a the Sunday paper or a good magazine for relaxation. Yes, the magazine industry will continue to lose it print subscription base as the younger generations mature however there will always be a solid demand for magazines. Why? For starters not everyone loves reading on a computer all the time or wants to print everything they want to read, or worse for email marketers wants 20 different commercial emails sent to them daily. I personally suffer from eyestrain too often and welcome print regularly.

The convenience and simplicity of print will allow it the medium to continue. As you stated before print can be taken anywhere anytime without any problems. Finally people sometime like a world where they can’t just find what they are looking for. I have read many great articles through the print form of Sports Illustrated by reading cover to cover.

Comment on Landing Page Optimization

Hi David ,
Good insights. They suggest that while people may regularly use mobile email, they're still saving the non-critical messages for viewing back on the PC at the end of the day or trip. This whole topic is fascinating. Thanks for raising it.
